We built this comparison site because rental prices for the same car can vary significantly depending on where you look — and most people never find that out until it’s too late to switch.
Booking through the first site you land on, without knowing what another partner or company might be charging for that identical car, means you could easily end up paying more than you needed to.

Visitteo partners with Discover Cars and EconomyBookings, who pull live prices from rental companies worldwide and return them to us for your search. Because partners negotiate independently and work with overlapping but not identical rental companies, running your search through both means you see a wider range of prices and availability than checking just one — which is exactly what Visitteo puts side by side for you.
Our partners each hold their own partnership with the rental companies, and Sixt is a good example. Sixt owns the physical car and sets the terms it rents under, but each of our partners prices that same Sixt car independently. So a Sixt car at the same location, for the same dates, can come back at a different price from each partner offering it.
Rental companies at the same location often stock the same popular models — a Fiat 500 is a good example. Sixt might have a Fiat 500 available, and so might Enterprise, at that same airport or city location, for your same dates. Even though it’s the identical car, each company sets its own price for it, so you’ll see two (or more) different prices for that Fiat 500 depending on which company is renting it out.
None of this is a pricing error. Partners negotiate their own prices, run their own promotions, and manage their own inventory, so the same underlying car can legitimately carry different price tags depending on who’s offering it at the moment you search.
It starts with companies like Sixt and Enterprise, who own the physical cars. They set the base prices for those cars at each location, and everything that follows is built on top of that starting price.
Next come our partners. Each holds its own direct agreement with these rental companies, taking their inventory and setting the prices you’d see if you searched directly on their platform. Because each partner negotiates separately, the same car can end up priced differently on each one.
We come last. We don’t have a direct relationship with the rental companies, and we don’t set any prices ourselves. Instead, we come after our partners — when you search, we ask all of them at once what they’re offering for your exact car, location, and dates, and place every result in front of you together. So instead of checking different sites one by one and wondering if you missed a better deal, you see everything they found — for the same car, from the same or different companies — in one place, in one search.
The headline price is only the starting point — it’s the total our partner quotes for your exact location, dates, and car category. But two prices that look close can hide very different deals underneath, which is exactly why price alone isn’t the whole comparison. That’s what the rest of these details are for.
Every offer tells you which rental company actually owns the car and will hand you the keys — Sixt, Enterprise, or another. This matters because pickup experience, counter service, and car condition can vary company to company, even when the price is nearly identical.
Every offer also shows which Visitteo partner surfaced it. That’s the platform where your booking is actually made, paid for, and managed, so you always know who to contact if you need to change or cancel.

Comparing on price alone can be misleading. Two offers priced identically can lead to very different total costs once you factor in fuel policy, insurance coverage, and deposit terms — one might require a full tank of pre-paid fuel and minimal insurance, while the other includes fuel flexibility and full cover for the same price. These filters let you compare the actual value of each offer, not just the price on the label.
Every price shown on Visitteo reflects what our partner returned at the exact moment you searched. Rental prices update frequently on the partner’s side, so the price you see may differ slightly by the time you complete your booking.
Clicking on any offer takes you to our partner’s site to complete your booking. Visitteo doesn’t process payments or bookings directly — we compare the offers, and the partner handles the reservation itself.
Prices may be shown in your local currency for easier comparison. The actual charge at booking is processed by the partner and may appear in their default currency, depending on your payment method and location.
Visitteo doesn’t own, set, or control any of the prices shown on our site. Every price comes directly from our partners, who negotiate their own rates with rental companies and return live pricing to us through their systems. Our role is to collect and display what they offer, not to determine or adjust it in any way — so what you see is exactly what our partner is charging, with nothing added or changed on our end.
Visitteo shows you fuel policy, insurance, deposit, and other terms upfront to help you compare — but the final terms are always set by the partner and rental company. Before confirming your booking, take a moment to review the full conditions on the partner’s site, since details like deposit amount, insurance coverage, and cancellation terms can include specifics that go beyond what’s shown in our comparison view.
When you hit search, Visitteo sends your query, location, dates, and car category as a live API call to our partners at the same time. Each partner’s system processes that request against their own live inventory and pricing, then sends the results back to us through the same API connection. There’s no caching or pre-stored data involved — every search triggers a fresh call, so what you see reflects current availability and pricing at that exact moment.
Our system is designed to fire these API calls in parallel rather than one after another, so you’re not waiting twice as long for multiple sets of results. Once all responses come back, we normalize the data, matching car categories, aligning currencies, and structuring each offer the same way — so results from different partners can sit side by side and be compared fairly, even though they arrive in different formats.
The design goal is to keep the behind-the-scenes work out of your way. You don’t need to know how the backend merges the results. You just see one clean list of prices, filters, and companies, with each offer clearly labeled by the partner you’ll book through.
